Yes, the bike is only 250 miles since new. If the clutch is dragging, it is only slightly as the bike does not move forward when in gear with the clutch disengaged.
I will take the whole matter up with the dealer when I take the bike in for the first service. I could be confusing valvetrain noise for gearbox noise, but it seems to be most pronounced immediately after shifting 3-4 or 4-5.
